Ryland Rees

Long-stick midfielder - Rochester Knighthawks (NLL)

Ryland grew up in Port Coquitlam, BC and raised in a family of professional athletes—his uncle, Jordan Gagner, played in the CFL and his grandfather, Ronald Hemmerling, remains in the BC Lacrosse Hall of Fame. While at Stony Brook University, Ryland was named the America East Defensive Player of the Year and earned the first team All-America East honors. Ryland later became the youngest member of the U19 Team British Columbia and was part of the U19 Tournament All-Star Team. He recently entered his first season of the NLL with the Knighthawks.
