Hello May. Fifth month. Full of light. Helen Keller said, “Security is mostly a superstition. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.”
Your Dare To Take Risks
Intrigued? Well you might then ask yourself, where do I begin? Or, you might decide to plan adventure into your daily routine. Either way is totally cool. Many times, risks are disguised as yearnings for more.
Maybe you want to up-level your training? Or maybe you want to try out a Paleo lifestyle. Maybe you think rock climbing would be fun, maybe you’d like to master a headstand. Whatever it is that is calling you is likely a desire for more, to see greater heights, and t o feel more challenged. If you feel any hesitation to your dreams, perhaps you have a case of the fears. Possibly fear is what’s holding you back? There’s no shame. We all have it. But rather than give into, why not kick it to the curb?
Here are some BIG benefits to taking a risk every now and then. #makefunyourbaseline
1. New Opportunities
Often new opportunities wait just on the other side of fear. Who knows where your next adventure might take you?
Taking risks can increase your self awareness. So get to know yourself better! Find out what motivates you? What you dread and lights you up?
3. Increased Confidence
Let’s face it, when you cross the finished line, all self-doubt is left in the dust.
4. Gained Success
Unfortunately, success isn’t your birthright; but it does spill over into other areas of your life. So, leave it all on the floor and then take that feeling and use it to propel you into a new dimension of your life.
5. New Connections
By trying something new, you may just find a new bestie. Or your soul mate. You might not, but you’ll never know until you try.
So why not stuff fear and think of ways that you can grow, push yourself, or take your life to a new level? After all, what have you got to lose?
